About Me

Hi there, I'm Lucy. 

 I’m an innovative storyteller who has developed into a creative and knowledgeable multimedia journalist through my experiences in and across various newsrooms. My work showcases a complex world in a way that anyone can understand, while prioritising perspectives that challenge how we see the world. I am keen to employ my skills into Australia’s newsrooms because good storytelling is vital to a thriving democracy. 

I have written for publications including Broadsheet, RMIT University's The City Journal, The Swanston Gazette and The Westsider. 

I have a Bachelor of Journalism from RMIT University. In 2025, I completed a three-month internship with Broadsheet Media, where I interviewed sources, pitched stories, attended editorial meetings, and learnt how to capture audiences through SEO. 

Also in 2025, I completed a three-week internship at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation's News Breakfast program. I edited news vision/b-roll, practiced writing for TV and collaborated with reporters and producers.
