About Me

Hi there, I'm Lucy.

I’m an innovative storyteller who has developed into a creative and knowledgeable multimedia journalist through my experiences in and across various newsrooms. My work showcases a complex world in a way that anyone can understand, while prioritising perspectives that challenge how we see the world. I am keen to employ my skills into Australia’s newsrooms because good storytelling is vital to a thriving democracy.

I have written for publications including Broadsheet, RMIT University's The Swanston Gazette, The Westsider and Happy Mag.

I have a Bachelor of Journalism from RMIT University. In 2025, I completed internships with Broadsheet Media and the Australian Broadcasting Corporation's News Breakfast program.

In 2026, I participated in a writing program organised by the Parliament of Victoria in conjunction with Express Media.

I am currently undertaking an internship with Happy Mag.
